We are a family business which has built up a wealth of knowledge as well as a real interest in the fishing industry. We now employ some 35 members of staff who all share the same interest in producing the finest fish Cornwall has to offer. We have family relatives working in key areas to ensure a quality product at all times.
Our office is run by a team of 7 people. Our first member of staff starts at 2:00 a.m and takes all the messages of the answer machine ready for processing by our factory staff. Once the orders are completed, invoices are raised on our up to date computerised system. Our friendly, knowledgeable office team will also be able to help with menu ideas, costings, seasons, invoice queries, placing orders and all general enquiries which are related to the fish industry.
We have a large fresh fish processing area where approximately 80% of our work is done. We have a foreman who is in charge of the day to day running of the factory floor. It is his responsibility to keep our 7 filleters and secondry processors on target to feed our team of order packers with fresh fish fillets to complete the days orders. All our customers demand healthy, nutritious fresh fish prepared and stored under the strictest hygienic standards, which is where are purpose built factory and trained processing staff excel. |
