Is the fish you send fresh?
Yes, all the fish we send to you comes in fresh, direct from the local markets.

Do you send frozen fish?
No, we only send fresh fish. We don’t dispatch frozen fish as we don’t want
it to start defrosting in transit. This also gives you the convenience to freeze
any of our fish on arrival. Fresh is always better.

How does your fish arrive?
We send all our fish in convenient easy to use packs which are then packed in
polystyrene insulated boxes with frozen gel packs. This keeps our fish chilled
until you can put it in the fridge on the day of delivery.

How do you deliver?
We use an overnight delivery service which arrives to you next day. Delivery
is FREE on orders over £100. Below this, our charge is only £6.95.
We do offer a Saturday delivery service which at present can only be arranged
by telephone and occurs an additional charge of £15.00.

Can I choose a specific delivery day?
Yes you can specify your delivery date, simply fill in the "Add Comments
About Your Order" section specifying what day suits you best for delivery.
We can deliver your order Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Saturday delivery
can also be arranged by telephone with an additional charge of £15.00.

Where does your fish come from?
We try and buy all our fish from the local day boats which work in and around
the Cornish shores. However we do import some fresh fish such as Sushi grade
Tuna, Marlin and Sword from Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

How long can I store your fish in my fridge?
All fresh fish arrives to you with a fresh use by date. It should be stored
in a refrigerator and used within that date.

How long can I store fish in my freezer?
All our fish can be frozen. Please refer to manufactures guide lines for your
particular make and model of freezer. Their manual should specify length of
times which fish can safely be stored. If you cannot find this information we
recommend no more than 3 months in a freezer which operates below -18°C.

Do you prepare fish so it’s ready to cook?
All our fish arrives to you filleted, cleaned and where ever possible pin boned
by one of our experienced filleters. All you have to do is take it out of the
packet and cook it. It really is that well prepared.

How do I cook my fish?
If you order anything from our Cornish Collection or Quayside Kitchen range
their are simple cooking instructions for each product. Also with the Cornish
Collection each product has a unique recipe for you to try. One of these is
"Pot roasted Cornish Trio with fennel, olives, tomato and basil."
